Cleveland Show, Sept. 18. (H. A. Daniels) 42 THE TWO PRYORS--Man and woman in singing, dancing and musicial specialties. They play banjo, mandolin and guitar. Act has improved some since I last saw it. Went quite well today for an opener. C. D. F. in 3, close in 1. 11 minutes. LE ROY & LA VANION--two men. Comedy triple horizontal bar act, both men doing comedy. Went better here today than I have ever seen Zazelle & Vernon's old act go. They work rapidly and accurately and manage to extract a good many laughs. Very good act. Garden 4. 9 minutes. LA PETITE MIGNON--Juvenile comedienne. Comedy singing and dancing specialty with imitations of Lillian Russel, Marie Dressler, Anna Held, Fred Stone of Montgomery & Stone of "The Wizard of Oz". This little girl is very clever and managed to gain a great deal of deserved applause. 10 minutes. Drop in 1. THE PANTZER TRIO--Two girls and a man. The old lady is not with them this trip, one of the girls playing the piano in her place. They have changed their routine of the act which improves it although the older girl is working very little, the bulk of the work falling on the younger one. A very good act for this house. C. D. F. in 3. 13 minutes. MUSICAL JOHNSTONS--two men and a woman playing on xylophones. The numbers were very liberally applauded. Good act. 11 minutes. Drop in 1. MR. & MRS. SIDNEY DREW--in sketch "The Yellow Dragon." Well known on the circuit. First time in this house and was well received. However, we have a thoroughly good, swiftly running show ahead of the sketch and it is not a feature of the show by any means. Good Act. Drew's name may draw some money. While the act held the interest of the audience throughout, it did not close to any great amount of applause. C. D. F. in 4, 20 minutes. LEW SULLY--Monologue, stories and songs. Has a lot of entirely new stuff. Is losing his voice and can not sing. His monologue is quite clever and well delivered. Received many laughs and some applause. Good act. 19 minutes. ELTON-POLO TROUPE--three men. Casting act. Good act, but not quite in the class with The Four Lukens. They didn't create much disturance. Garden 4. 8 minutes. KINETOGRAPH--Hippodrome Races at Dreamland, Coney Island, Good. Ruffles, the Dog.Good.
