philadelphia show, Oct. 9th 1905. McKISSICK & SHADNEY-3-Colored entertainers. Man and woman in the regulation songs and dancing, the dancing being much better than the singing and they finished quite strong to-day. Good lively act for an opener. 15 mins. St. in 1. THE CHADWICK TRIO-3-Man and two women in the rube sketch entitled, "Hank Hoover's Holiday." Man is a fair comedian from a three a day standpoint, and aroused quite a few laughs. The buck dancing of the girl carries the act however. She is really a remarkable buck dancer for a woman, and her work made a most pronounced hit with a top heavy house to-day. 17 mins. C. D. F. 2 1/2 KLECKO & FRAVOLI-3-Man and woman rendering operatic selections in costume. This is a mighty good act, and could easily go down the bill, were it not that they would conflict with the Italian Trio. Liberal applause this afternoon. 12 mins. Drap. in 1. THE RE-ANOS-3-Contortionists. Man and woman. Woman is the best performer of the two, and is quite attractive. Some of the work introduced is novel, and all well done. The comedy introduced by the man does not amount to much. Good act for early bill, and well received to-day. 18 mins. in Gar. in 4. WALTER DANIELS-3-Impersonator. Daniels' work is well known over the circuit, and favorably known here. Was greeted with advance applause to-day, and received liberal applause for each impersonation. Always a good act for the early bill. 14 mins. Olio in 1. CHASSINO-2-Silhouettist. This man's work is so well known that it needs no criticism. Won the audience from the start, and scored most emphatically, being applause hit up to this point. Good act. 12 mins. Pal. in 4. ITALIAN TRIO-2-Three men in high class vocal work. Good selection well sung. Second time for these people here, and seemed to go fully as strong this afternoon as before, although they did not receive the applause on their finishing song that they did on their first two numbers. 11 mins. Olio in 1.
