New York Schedule--Oct. 23d, 1905. HENNEY & STEELE: 2 young girls: Pleasing appearance. Voices only fair. Dancing just about carried them off. Alright for an early place. 3 shows-drop in one-8 min. THE LE PAGES: Novelty Jumpers. Man and woman. Greatly improved and one of the best of its kind we ever played. They carry their own stage setting, which improves the act greatly. Introduces a number of new stunts. Act is deserving a better place. 13 min.-full stage-2 CORBLEY & BURKE: 2 men. Irish dialect comedians: They have a fairly good line of material and scored many laughs. The act is excellent for the three-a-day section. 15 min - street in one- HOLMES BROTHERS: Comedy Bar Gymnasts: The comedy end is alright. Scored several laughs. The bar work is good and the act is excellent for a three-a-day section. 8 min.- full stage- MARIE GERARD: Humorist: This woman will not do for the circuit. Her material is off-color. She makes a pleasing appearance and has a good delivery. Will have to bury her. 14 min - drapery in one- 3 shows SNYDER & BUCKLEY: Musical comedy: Well known. Always goes well here. and one of the best comedy musical acts we play. 26 min. close in one about five minutes-full stage- LaVINE-CIMARON TRIO: 2 men and a woman. Comedy Acrobats and Dancers: Well known. Strongly applauded throughout. 10 min. full stage- 2 shows. GRACE JACKSON: Soprano: First appearance. This woman makes a very nice appearance. She has great volume, but the voice is not musical and the enunciation bad. She has quite a following here and I presume we will do business on her name. 16 min. in on- 2 shows CRESSEY & DAYNE: In their comedy:-"Town Hall To-Night:" First time here. Every line is a laugh. The act is greatly improved since their appearance at the Alhambra. Received two curtain calls on the finish. 26 min. have been booked the second week. They received several scattered laughs with a very small hand on the finish. 18 min. full stage LEW SULLY: This man is working in white-face. Although he had a very hard place on the bill, he negoiated it with great success. His material is all new and his songs exceptionally bright. I think he gave us the best act we ever had. 16 min. in one - 2 shows THE MEERS: 2 men and a woman: Wire Artists: The comedy end of this act is good,-something unusual for foreigners. They received a big lot of applause for their wire work, which is excellent. In fact, it is the only act we ever had for many a day that held them to the finish. 16 min. flull stage- 2 shows KINETOGRAPH:---The Venetian Looking Glass: Very good. Different Hair-dresses: Quite novel. Hand-painted. Very good. The Little Train Robbery: Good.
