PHILADELPHIA SHOW. NOV. 20TH, 1905. H. T. JORDAN. THE MAGINLEYS-3-Trapeze artists. Man and woman, well known on circuit, always a safe act for early bill. 13 mins. Gar in 4. MILT WOOD-3-Dancer. Since this man has been working alone he has improved one hundred percent, and now gives us one of our best dancing acts. Too good for this place, and will be moved down the bill tonight. 10 mins. St. in 1. LOA & FAY DURBYELLE-3-Shadowgraph entertainers. Two petite young ladies neatly costumed. Work in front of screen, which is rather novel. Nice little three a day act, not as good as the Darrows, nor in the same class with Chassins. 13 mins. Spec. in 4. CURTIS & MAY-3-Comedy duo. Man and woman in songs, and a little talk. Woman does a couple of imitations that are fairly good. Act as a whole rather weak, and did not do much to-day. 14 mins. St. in 1. LES AUBERTS-2-European acrobatic dancers, man and woman. The act is well costumed, but with the exception of the finish, the dancing did not appeal to our patrons. Too little dancing, and too much posing. A half dozen American acts doing the same thing better. 18 mins. Pal. in 5. BOOKER & CORBLEY-2-In the one act comedy, "The Walking Delegate." Two men While there is nothing startling about this act, it held the attention of our audience to-day, brought out quite a few laughs, and closed in to good applause, From the standpoint of Irish talking acts, which it really is, it is one of the best we have played. 15 mins. Spec. in 4. SYLVANO-2-Equilibrist. This man works entirely on metal stand, and pyramid of chairs, decorated with varied colored lights. He works neatly and easily, and some of the stunts are very spectacular. Held the attention of the audience through out the act, and closed strong. Good act. 12 mins. Gar. in 4. MAXIMILLIAN-2-Boy violinist. This young man bore out all the good things said about him in Boston last week, and is undoubtedly a comer. Made an extremely strong impression on a quiet audience, and was enthusiastically applauded. 15 mins. Pal. in 2. ROSAIR & DORETTO-2-Comedy Acrobats. Two men. First time in this house. Aroused quite a lot of laughs this afternoon, and well applauded at finish. Will probably do better the balance of the week. 12 mins. Spec. in 5. HASSEN BEN ALI'S TOOZOONIAN ARABS-2-The gentleman Cleveland calls this the best closing act in vaudeville, and I agree with him. Worked with even more rapidity than ever before, and had the audience standing up at the finish. A hit. 10 mins. Water landscape in 5. KINETOGRAPH:- 1. THE IMPRACTICABLE JOURNEY. Good photographically, and has quite a lot of light comedy. 2. THE CZAR AND THE IMPERIAL FAMILY. A most timely picture, and proved very interesting. 3. DOWN ON THE FARM. Also good from a photographic standpoint, and some of the comedy is quite good.
