118 GRAND OPERA HOUSE PITTSBURG, PA. DECEMBER 4th, 1905. TOSSING AUSTINS-13 minutes, interior in three. 3 shows. Comedy juggling. Very ordinary act. Does very well for the three a day section, however. LELIA TAYLOR-9 minutes. Olio in one. Singing comedienne. This act is as good as the ordinary single lady turns doing three shows. THE HOLDSWORTHS-Singing, dancing and banjo playing. 3 shows. Olio-Time of act 15 minutes. This act is really a surprise to us. Heretofore they have just been able to get away in the three a day section. They have a fairly good place this week and they are going very big, much better than many two a day we have played. AUGUSTA GLOSE-Interior in 3. Time of act 12 minutes. Singing and piano playing. This is a very good act. I consider it one of the best single woman acts in the business. She can work in two and do a close in one of about 4 minutes but our bill is so arranged that we were able to give her full stage. GEO. WILSON-17 minutes in one. Street. Too well known to need extended criticism except to say that he is going fully as well with us as he did on his first appearance here. STALEY & BIRBECK-8 minutes, special. About the same as ever except that the scenery is older than when they appeared here last. However, it is a novelty and seems to please very much. BESHAN & MILLER-16 minutes in one. Olio. This act is going very well, especially the work of Miss Miller. The comedy of Miss Miller, which is very good, and the dancing of both is far above the average. Taking the act as a whole it can be classed as very good. RICHARD GOLDEN & CO. 27 minutes, full stage, interior, in "Old Jed Prouty in Boston". This is a very good sketch and I think the name Golden will draw some money. There is one very weak spot in Mr. Golden's company which if changed would improve it considerable, but the act as it is will more than make good. CLIFTON CRAWFORD-10 minutes. Monologue, singing and recitations. This act went bigger than any monologue act we have ever played-especially the recitation Gunghdin. MURPHY & NICHOLS-28 minutes. Opens in one 5 minutes, close full stage, wood. "From Zaza to Uncle Tom". LAVINE CIMERON TRIO-Comedy acrobatic act. Time of act 5 minutes. This is a good act, going very well in a hard place on the bill-closing the show. CINEOMATOGRAPH- Three pictures-"Coney Island by Night"-"Niagara Falls" and "The Rapids". Do not like the subjects. Am changing films. John P. Harris
