New York Schedule---Dec. 18th, 1905. ----ooooo(2)ooooo---- FRANK & JEN LATONA: Musical comedy. First time here. Latona impersonates a tramp. His comedy is good and he scored many laughs. Woman has a pleasing personality and is an excellent pianist. Her piano work was strongly applauded. Made a terrific hit singing the song "Sympathy." 31 min.-full stage-(can close in one about 8 minutes)-2 shows SYDNEY GRANT: Songs, stories and recitations: This young man did not go as strong to-day as formerly. While his stories are all new and good, they are on the concert-type order. May go better to-night. 19 min. in one- 2 shows THE SUNNY SOUTH: 6 men and 6 women (colored.) Presenting a singing and dancing number, entitled:-"A Song Story of Dixie". They carry their own scenery, representing a garden in the South. Opens tame with the girl's song rather flat. The talking and the comedy end does not amount to anything, although good in spots. The finish is the best part of the act, consisting of,- lively coon singing and dancing and calls for many laughs and got strong applause. In its entirety the act is alright. 20 min.-full stage- 2 shows. ELINORE SISTERS: First time in years. The biggest laughing hit of the show. 23 min. in one- 2 shows FOUR LONDONS: 4 men. Aerial Artists. At the price this act is alright. They work a little slow and do a lot of posing, but manage to get the applause. 11 min.- full stage- 2 shows KINETOGRAPH: "The Tragedy at Sea." Rather fakey, but passes. "The Night before Christmas." Alright for this time of the year, but has the stamp of the McCutchions film as he introduces the old-time pillow fight. I doubt if this picture can make good over the circuit except at this season.
