TEMPLE THEATER, Detroit, Mich., Jan. 1, 1906-There is but one weak spot on the bill this week-Violet Dale-and still the newspaper criticisms of her work were excellent.

Man and woman in acrobatic antics. A first-class act of this kind. 13 min. F. S.

Her singing and impersonations are about as bad as anything I ever witnessed. 11 min. in one.

Presenting "The Sheriff." An excellent comedy playlet, excellently interpreted. 30 min. F. S.

NELLA BERGEN
A delightful surprise. Handsome stage presence, handsome gowns, wonderful soprano voice, and excellent selection of songs. A treat for the elite. 12 min. in one.

CLAYTON WHITE-MARIE STUART CO.
Presenting "Paris." Appeared to be better than ever, and had a large holiday audience in  shrieks. 24 min. F. S.

ORPHEUS COMEDY FOUR
Although in a hard spot they appeared to make good with the audience. 18 min. in one.

MARCARTE'S BABOONS AND MONKEYS
A very good act for the children, but hardly enough [hurrah?] about it to close a good show. 16 min. F. S.
