Report on show, Keith's Theatre, Providence, R. I., Week of February 5, 1906. (Chas. Lovenberg, Mgr.)
This is the kind of a bill that I like to see. With two or three exceptions, and those not serious, everything has made good to-day with the audience as well as with myself and I feel sure that this show will draw money.
Wilbur Amos. Juggler. This man seems to have gone back in his work, unless this happened to be one of his "off" days. He managed to get by, in the above spot, but getting by was all he did. 15 min. in 3, 3 shows.
The McGraths. Two men, banjo players. Very nice three a day act for an early spot. 11 min. in 1, 3 shows.
Harry [Edeson's?] Musical Dog. Very good little act; one that could be safely put on towards eight o'clock or a little after and go all right. Very favorable three a day turn. 10 min. open 3, close in 1, can work in 2, and 1, 3 shows.
Dora Pelletier. Impersonator. This woman fell down with an awful thud. She never should have been permitted to get out of the three a day section, and she is, by no means, as good as at least three of our three a day acts, in this bill. She is supposed to do about 17 min. but she didn't get sufficient applause to warrant more than 12. She is working in 2, but can work in 1, 2 shows.
Johnson & Wells. Colored singers and dancers. These people didn't start off very well, but finished very strongly with some lively dancing. Very good 3 a day offering. 12 min. in one.
Aerial Smiths. Trapeze performers. This is one of the best acts of the kind that we play and in rather an important spot on the bill, they made quite a hit. Thoroughly safe up to 8:30 or a little later. 10 min. full stage, 3 shows.
Post & Russell. These two men do a very nice act, including some exceptionally good eccentric dancing. I cannot agree with some of the people who recommended it, that it 


Mosher, Houghton & Mosher. A very good comedy bicycle act, went very strongly with the audience. 15 min. full stage, 2 shows.
Motion Pictures. A JOKE On The Roundsman, --fairly good comedy.
Views and People in Ceylon--Exceedingly interesting picture.
Three Phases of the Moon--Fairly good comedy.
George Holden. Magician. He is thoroughly all right for an unimportant spot on the bill. 13 min. open in 3, can close in 1, 3 shows.
