PITTSBURG, PA. GRAND OPERA HOUSE FEB. 5th, 1906. FRANCIS WOOD-Juggling and hoop rolling. 3 shows. 12 min. This is a very good act for the three a day section. WARD & WARD-10 minutes, 3 shows. Dancing act. I do not consider this a good act. Would not play them a return. ARNESSEN-Gymnastic equilibrist. 10 minutes, wood. This act does very well early on the bill-say about 2.30 and 8:30. It is different from other equilibrist acts we have played. BOBBY NORTH-15 minutes, street in one. Hebrew parodies and talking. This is Mr. North's second week in vaudeville and he is going very well with us. I think the act will improve with a little more work. SEYMOUR & HILL-Comedy acrobatic act entitled "The Mix and the Mixer". This is an act similar to Hickey & Nelson but I consider it much better. They were one of the hits of the bill this week. SEARL & VIOLET CO Introducing "The New Reporter". 5 people-18 minutes, street in one. The act is exactly the same as the one they played for us last season excepting that they have three incompetent people. I do not think the act as good with the 5 people as when they played it alone. Would not think of repeating it. CHERIDAH SIMPSON & CITY GIRLS-18 minutes, palace. This act was not a hit here. It just about got away. Were they getting $300 a week less I would consider the act over paid. LUIGI DEL ORO-12 minutes, Olio. This is a novel musical act, playing two instruments at one time, an accordeon and an instrument he plays with his feet called the armonipede. This is his second appearance here and he did very well, especially with his popular selections. MACY & HALL-"A Timely Awakening". 24 minutes. I think this one of the best sketches we have played. It went very big with us. OTTO BROS-German comedians and singers. 11 minutes, street. The comedy in this act is only fair but the singing is exceptionally strong and makes the act a very big hit. John P. Harris.
