PITTSBURG, PA. GRAND OPERA HOUSE FEB. 19th, 1906. BERNARD WILLIAMS- Magic and monologue. 3 shows. Goes very well among the three a day shows. MILDRED FLORA-Monologue, singing and wire walking. 14 minutes, open in one, closing full stage. This act is too well known for criticism. Going about the same as usual. DORA PELLETIER-10 minutes, olio. Comedienne, mimic and singer. I consider this only a fair act. I think she could still be doing three shows. BURTON & BROOKS in "Always in the Way". 23 minutes. Full stage. This act is about the same as their former act except the change in name. They went exceptionally strong with us owing to several verses in their song on the election. They were easily the hit of the show, which I credit mostly to the excitement during the election. Ordinarily, I would consider it only a fair act for an early place on the bill. JOHNNY JOHNS-13 minutes in one. Black face singing and talking act-mostly parodies. This is Mr. John's first appearance here and he is going very, very well. I consider him a good act. I think with a little more confidence in himself he will be one of the best black face acts we play. LOUISE MONTROSE and her Five Auto Girls. 14 minutes, wood. This is one of the best girl acts we have played. When the salary is considered I prefer it to any act in the business. WILLIE ECKSTEIN-"The Boy Paderewski". 12 minutes. Grand piano. Olio in one. This young man was a great hit with us and I feel sure he would repeat his success were he to play a return here. MULLEN & CORELLA-12 minutes, full stage-comedy acrobats. This is a very good act and I think they will do well any place on the bill. MOLLIE RYAN-Singer of Irish ballads. 10 minutes, olio. Going very big and drawing considerable business among the non-theater goers. Her singing of Irish ballads is exceptionally good and have reengaged her for next week. ARTHUR DUNN & MARIE GLAZIER-in "The Messenger Boy". 18 minutes. I think Mr. Dunn a very good comedian and is ably assisted by Miss Glazier. Mr. Dunn received a reception at every performance and is his act went very good. I think he is the means of drawing us a little money. ELMER TENLEY-Irish monologue with street car stories. 15 minutes-street in one. This is Mr. Tenley's second appearance here this season and he is doing fully as well as he did during his first engagement. WOTPERT TRIO -Acrobats. 10 minutes-garden. This is a very good act, their work being different from most other acts of the kind.
