GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING NOV. 14th, 04. PITTSBURG, PA. FOSTER & DOG. 3 shows. 15 minutes in one. Did very well in the three a day setion. Taylor & Orletta. Singing and talking sketch. 17 minutes-Interior. Full stage. The singing in this act is very fair-much better than the usual run of three a day acts, but the talking is something awful and should be cut out. With the talking out this act would do very well for three shows. TRASK & GLADDEN-In singing and talking act in one. 14 minutes. 3 shows. This act goes very well with us. CHAS. HERA-Juggler. 16 minutes, full stage We consider this as good as the best that we have ever played. IRVING JONES-Colored singing and talking act. 16 minutes in one. His work this week is going very big as he has always done here. MR. & MRS. GARDNER CRANE-22 minutes, Interior. "AM I your wife?" One of the best sketches that we have played. I consider the act much better now than when we played it last season. MISS MARION BALLOU. 10 minutes in one- in recitative monologue set to music. Miss Ballou is a stock company favorite here and entered vaudeville for one week only. Her work, however, was not a success. WILLY ZIMMERMAN-18 minutes, full stage. Closes in one, six minutes. Imitation of band masters. This is a novelty and I feel sure that it would add interest to any bill. WARD & CURRAN-28 minutes, full stage. They went very good with us. I think the act would be improved quite a little by cutting 8 or 10 minutes as it is entirely too long. LOUISE BREHANEY- 10 minutes. Olio in one. Very neat dresser and sings very well. and pleases our audience very much. STALEY & BIRBECK-10 minutes. Special set. Transformation and musical act. This is a great novelty act-too well known to need any comment. YORK & ADAMS-18 minutes. Street in one. This act is well known by all managers on the circuit. They did not go as well with us during this engagement as they have on their previous visits here. GAUSCH SISTERS-Acrobats. 7 minutes, full stage, wood. This is a great act-doing very difficult work-as good as most men. J. P. Harris.
