KEITH'S THEATRE, CLEVELAND. Week beginning December 5th, 1904. CHAS. & MINNIE SAVAN:- In a laughing pantomimic act entitled "Mishaps." This act has been here so often and is also so familiar with everone that comment is unnecessary. They did not get a hand at the matinee to-day. Were never very strong in Cleveland. Time of act 14 minutes full stage. They can close in one but the stuff they do is bad. FITZ GIBBON McCOY TRIO:- In a comedy sketch entitled "The Mischievous Brother." This act consists of singing and talking. There is nothing to it of any consequence that would entitle it to be called a good act. Runs about 19 minutes full stage. CHAS KENNA:- In a one man sketch called "The Fakir." This act is too well known to everyone to need any comment. 17 min. in one. ROSE WENTWORTH TRIO:- In an act of "Novel Horsemanship." This is a good act, in fact one of the best of the horse acts we have played, both the acrobatic stuff and the horsemanship is very good. There are three people in the act, two men and a woman. Runs about 8 minutes full stage. MARION GARSON:- Operatic Soprano; This lady has the appearance of being about 20 years of age; rather small in statue. She has a strong, powerful, melodious voice, in fact the best of all the singers we have had in the house this season. She was the hit of the bill and if you are a good singer, here is one place where they will give you credit for it. This girl is immense and will make a hit on any bill. 10 minutes in one. EMMET DEVOY & CO:- In a sketch entitled "The Saintly Mr. Billings." I cant say where there is any merit to this act. There are a few laughs sandwitched in with it. The one redeeming feature about it is the finish, and it takes a nigger baby to make them laugh there 20 minutes full stage. RICE & CADY:- German Comedians; Their act did not go very well. They have a little new stuff, but there is not much to it. Their old stuff everybody knows and for that reason they fell flat. It is time for them to improve. 14 minutes in one. PEWITT:- The Mysterious Face. This act has been on the circuit and I think comment on it is unnecessary. How the audience took it here this afternoon, I am not able to tell. When he got through with his act they seemed to wonder what it was all about. However, I think it made some impression. Pewitt has certainly great command of the English Language. 6 minutes full stage. AMIRICAN BIOGRAPH:- I am running but one film entitled "The Impossible Voyage." It is a French film and a rather good one. It is a novelty and I believe the people liked it for a change. L. M. Eirick.
