TEMPLE THEATER DETROIT, MICH, DEC. 19. J. H. FINN BRESNAH AND MILLER- Man and woman in a singing and dancing act. This is the best opening act that we have had in several months. Both the singing and dancing are just suited to vaudeville. We would like to have them further down in the bill. 23 min. in one. WATERBURY BRO'S. AND TENNY- This act is too well known to need mention, suffice it to say that it is one of the very best musical comedy acts in the business and went as strong as ever. 19 min. F. S. MISS FLO ADLER- This woman is steadily improving and has established herself as a favorite here. She carries a boy with her who sings from an upper box, and makes a distinct hit. 10 min. in one. EDMUND DAY & CO. Mr. Day, assisted by a man and woman, presented his new playlet "The Sheriff" to an appreciative audience. While it cannot be said that this is Mr. Day's masterpiece still it is away out of the ordinary and went very strong with our audiences. 23 min. F. S. RICE AND CADY This team of German comedians made a distinct hit here. They are about the same calibre as Carlin and Otto and went fully as strong. They have new stuff. 18 min. in one. DELLA FOX This once famous comic opera comedienne re-established herself in the affections of Detroiters. Her voice is better than it has been in the past five years. This is particularly noticable in her encore song "A Pretty Girl, a Summer's Night." Her first song "One Little Soldier Man," is too high for her and she should leave it alone. This week will be a distinct triumph for her if she behaves herself. 10 min F. S. VICTOR MOORE AND EMMA LITTLEFIELD This act repeated the success it met with on the occasion of its last appearance here. They are presenting the same act and now carry their own "stage hand." 23 min. F. S. FIVE MOWATTS This is the best club juggling act on the vaudeville stage, and closed what can be called a corking good vaudeville show. 8 min.
