SCHEDULE NEW YORK SHOW: WEEK DECEMBER 26, 1904: "CHICK" SR-3:- Wood, Comedy cyclist. Tramp make-up. Clever trick riding. Good comedy. At the price an excellent opening act. 12 minutes: FRED BROWN: NH-3:- Drop 1: Blackface singer and dancer. Fair singer and an excellent dancer. A good act for an early place. 10 Minutes: SISTERS VALLI: NH-3: Drop 2: Two young women, wearing Swedish costumes. Pianist and violinist; rather odd in appearance. Splendid musicians. 15 Minutes: CLAUDE FREDERICK & PONY DON: GYH-3: (Disappointed) MARY DUPONT & CO:GNH-2:- Fancy 3. Mary Dupont assisted by Wiliard Hutchinson. Both clever, presenting the comedy "Leap Year Leaps". An excellent one-act play, full of laughs and funny situations. Went strong. 19 Mins. WILSON & DAVIS: KR-3: Street 1: Two man, talking and singing comedians. Mostly old material, although with the holiday crowd went big. 16 Mins. LIBREY & TRAYER: GHR-2:- C.D.3. Man and woman in a musical comedietta. Straight singing and talking act. Full of good laughs. Both excellent singers. Very well received. Close in one; 5 minutes. 19 Minutes. FITZGIBBON-McCOY TRIO: GHR-2:-C.D.3: Two men and a woman in "A Mischievous Brother". Fitz received a rousing reception when he appeared. The act went with a scream and is the laughing hit of the show. 20 Minutes. FRED NIBLO: YHR-2: Drop 1: First appearance in years. His material is nearly all new and he had them laughing during his entire act. 16 minutes. BRUNO & RUSSELL: YRR-2 C.D.3, 22 minutes. Man and woman in a singing and dancing act. The woman makes an excellent appearance, and is a good vocalist. The act is really a singing and dancing act with a little talking. It contains several good laughs and they are both good dancers. At YRR they are, I think, HR overpaid. PAUL SPADONI: SRR-2: Palace 4, 23 minutes. Juggler and strong man. A wonderful performance. Strongly applauded. SCOTT BROS; GHR-2: Garden 4: Two men, Equilibrists. This is rather a novel act. They open in full dress and do some clever balancing. They then change to tights and do an excellent wire act. One holds the wire by his teeth while the other does a one hand balance on the wire. Although the act does not consume much time it is one of the best acts of this character we have ever played. 9 Minutes. BIOGRAPH:19 M: "Trials of an Automobilist": Although it is an advertisement for Corse Payton, it is an excellent picture; full of laughs. "Chicken Thief": Showing two negroes stealing chickens, a chase and etc. Good. NOTE:- The failure of Claude Frederick to appear hurt us as far as amusement for the children was concerned. The show is a good one- rather short, will probably add an act to-morrow. Fitzgibbon-McCoy Trio, Fred Niblo and Frank Bush are the laughing hits. S.K.HODGDON.
