TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. WEEK DEC. 26th, 1904 CAMTWELL & HARRIS Sing and Dance Man and woman. This act went very well here and considering the fact that they opened the show, they can be set down as being above the average. 13 min. in one. MLLE. CHESTER & STATUE DOG. The dog, Billy, is a beautiful white setter, beautiful as a picture. His eleven different poses are truly remarkable, as he remains as motionless as if carved from stone. The act is not only a novelty but is very pretty and gives the audience a genuine treat. 9 mins. F. S ARCHIE BOYD & CO. In a sketch entitled, "After Many Years". This sketch is like "the old Homestead" boiled down to 23 minutes. Both Mr. Boyd and Mr. Gallard are excellent actors and the sketch made a tremendous hit. 23 mins. F. S. PICCOLO MIDGETS. This is perhaps the best midget act in the country. Although it has been presented here a number of times it seems to take as well as ever. 14 mins, open one, close F. S. MARGURITA SYLVA Singing "The Flower and Jewels Song from Faust." Miss Sylva was treated to an ovation here. She receive five curtain calls at the evening performance. She is in excellent voice and her charming stage presence established her at once as a favorite here. 11 mins. F. S. MAYHE REMINGTON & HER Black Buster Brownies. This act made good. While Mayhe cannot sing Her picks brought her through in fine shape. She has a drop for the "Seminole Song" but little can be said for this drop or for the song. 12 mins. with drop. ROSE WENTWORTH TRIO Two men, a woman, two beautiful white horse of the Percheron Breed, a cart, and coach dog make up this act. Miss Wentworth and one of the men is some remarkable good bareback riding, and the act itself is one of the best acts of this kind in vaudeville. It was recently a feature of Barnum & Bailey's circus. 14 mins. F. S. KINETOGRAPH
