62 (2) BLOCKSOM & BURNS (?) Rice & Prevost tried hard to work to-day; they did about 6 minutes and were compelled to give up. Have substituted Blocksom & Burns in their place, the well known black-face perch act. The biggest laughing hit of the show. 12 Mins. full stage, 2 shows. JACK NORWORTH: YHR-2: (With Marie Dresser) Working in white face, singer of parodies. This fellow certainly keeps abreast with the times; he has a lot of local material that only fits this town and they laughed heartily. He scored the strongest of any act up to this time. 18 minutes, Street in one. WATERBURY BROS. & TENNY: YHR-2: Three men, Tenny in black-face, in their well known musical sketch entitled "A Cold Day in July". The act contains quite a number of laughs and it went fully as strong as before. 22 minutes, full stage, close in one, 4 minutes. JOHN C. RICE & SALLY COHEN (SHR-2) In their comedy, "Our Honeymoon". This is the first appearance of these artists in two years. Very clever; full of good laughs. 24 M. full stg. JOE FLYNN: GHR-2: With a little monologue and a few parodies. His Monologue is about the same; the parodies are new. In this trying spot he held them as well as any we have ever had. Drop in one, 18 minutes. KEIT AND RUSIK: ER-2: Two men, in a hand-to-hand balancing act. They work in full dress, make a good appearance. Their tricks are all hard and well done, although they do a lot of handkerchief posing, but at the price it is a very good act. 9 minutes, full stage, 2 shows. BIOGRAPH:- "The Picture of the 'Yegg' Bank Burglars": Very sensational, excellent both photographically and in general construction. The only film we ever had that held the audience to the finish; even caught those standing that intended to leave. Big applause on the finish. Good for a urn. Fire Works: Showing only the fire-works going off, sky-rockets, Roman candles & etc. Quite an idea and is hand painted. Splendid film. Drop in one, 20 minutes.
