GRAND OPERA HOUSE
MAY 1st, 05. PITTSBURG, PA.
ZELLA & DOT-Time of act 10 minutes in two. 3 shows. Does very well in the three a day section.
DELPHIAN & DELMORA. Comedy Musical Act. Time of act 15 minutes. Full stage, close in one about three minutes. 3 shows. Will do very well for the three a day section. Do not consider the comedy good.
GRACE LEONARD. Billed as the American Vesta Tilley. Time of act 10 minutes in one. 3 shows. I consider this a good three a day act.
TRELOAR & TEMPEST. Time of act 11 minutes, full stage. The muscular work of Mr. Treloar is great. I  consider him one of the best in this line but do not consider the weight lifting good. His assistant, Miss Tempest, acts very much like an amateur which, no doubt, she is and I consider that this hurts the act quite a little.
WM. WINDOM. Time of act 15 minutes, in one. Mr. Windom act consists of monologue and singing-made up as a colored nurse girl. His monologue is very bad and his singing is only fair. Taking the act as a whole I do not consider it a good one.
EMPIRE COMEDY FOUR. Time of act 18 minutes in one. This act is going very big with us. I cannot say that I like their comedy but it seems to please our patrons.
ROONEY & BENT-Singing, talking and dancing act. time of act 14 minutes. Full stage, closes in one about three minutes. I consider this one of the best dancing acts that we have ever played. I cannot say much for the talking in the act but taken as a whole it makes more than good.
KENO, WELSH & MELROSE. time of act 15 minutes. Full stage, wood; closing in one 5 minutes. This act is going very big with us. I consider it better now than when we played it last and consider it one of the best acrobatic acts in the business.
MASON & KEELER CO. "Hooked by Crook". time of act 22 minutes, full stage, interior. This is one of the best laughing sketches that we have played this season. I wish there were more acts of this kind in the business, at the same price.
KELLY & VIOLETTE. Singing act. Time of act 14 minutes in one. this is undoubtedly the best dressed act in vaudeville. this is their second appearance here this season and they are going very big.
MEEHAN'S COMEDY DOGS. Time of act 15 minutes. Full stage, wood. when the price of this act is considered I think it far above the average. There is plenty of comedy in the act and it goes very big.
ANNIE IRISH & CO. "An Actress' CHRISTMAS". Time of act 20 minutes, full stage. This is Miss Irish's second appearance this season and her sketch is going fully as well as during her first engagement. I wish there were more acts in vaudeville and presented as well as the one Miss Irish has.
