[preprinted] 205 [/preprinted] PHILADELPHIA SHOW, JULY 3RD'05. COGHLAN-SR-3-Club swinging, using colored electric lamp as clubs. The man's work is only fair, but act is all right for an opener at the price. Made little impression. 9 mins. Black drop in 3. THREE CONSTANTINE SISTERS-3-Acrobatic dancers, in the order of the Three Madcaps. Only fair singer, but very good dancers .Well liked by to-day's audiences. Finish a little "leggy" for this house. Good act. 8 mins. Open in one. Gar in 3. Close in one. [rest of article covered] PHILADEPHIA SHOW, JULY 3RD'05. 2. HENRY V. DONNELLY & CO-SRR-2-Donnelly supported by Attie Spencer in the farce, "Mr. & Mrs. Nagg." Advance applause. Mr. Donnelly has a winner and kept the house in a constant roar. his work and also that of Miss Spencer were clever. Very good act. 22 mins. C.D.F. in 3. MATTHEWS & ASHLEY-GNH-2-Two men, one in Hebrew makeup, other straight. Talk and songs. Same act as when last here. God the laughs and held down a hard place in good shape. Good act. 20 mins. in one. MOSHER, HOUGHTON & MOSHER-GNH-2-Bicyclists. Three men, two straight, one tramp makeup. As good a bicycle act as we play here. Some new stunts. Comedy, good. Plenty of applause. Very good at. 23 ins. Landso. in 4. BIOGRAPH -- TOODLES AND HER STRAWBERRY TART, Fair Comedy: BENEATH THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE, Good: FEEIDNG THE RUSSIAN BEAR, Good: A DAY AT CONEY ISLAND, Seasonable Picture for us At This Time of the Year. Good Comedy. COMMENT:-The show this week is a good one, and well balanced. The fact that every act, but one, is new in this house is in its favor. Had a good house this afternoon and should do well this week. H. T. JORDAN
