GRAND OPERA HOUSE     APRIL 23d, 1906.
GRIFF BROS-European gymnasts. 12 minutes, garden. This is an exceptionally good act in the three a day section.
HILLS & WILSON-Comedians, singers and dancers. 12 minutes, 3 shows. Going very well among the three a days.
HOCH-ELTON & CO. "Mlle Ricci" 19 minutes, interior. I consider this a very bad sketch, very badly played. I think among the worst we have ever had.
THREE DUMONDS-Street in one. Italian street singers. 15 min. This act is too well known to need extended criticism. They repeated their success of former seasons.
BARRY & HALVERS-Eccentric comedy duo introducing singing, dancing and talking. Interior, 14 minutes. This is a fair act of the kind and does very well for us.
JIM MORTON  Olio-15 minutes. The same as usual, which is good.
HYAMS & MCINTYRE "Two Hundred Wives". Kitchen-23 minutes. This act went very big which is entirely due to Miss McIntyre. I cannot say much for the work of Mr. Hyams but taking the act as a whole, it is among the best.
SIX PROVEANAS-Europe's most expert bicycle women. Garden-13 min. I think this is one of the best bicycle acts I have ever seen. While they do not dress quite as neat as the Kaufmann Troupe, I think their work is equally as good.
MINSTREL MISSES--23 minutes. Special. Open in two, closing full stage. This act went very well with us. I think it is among the best girl acts we play.
MCMAHAN & CHAPELLE-18 minutes, street in one. Same as usual, which is good.
REDFORD & WINCHESTER-Comedy jugglers-Garden. Special drop. 11 min. While the juggling in this act is not great the comedy is very good.
WILSON & MAE-Comedy singing and talking act. 12 minutes. Just about gets away among the three a day.
CONLIN & HASTINGS-Singing & talking sketch. Interior. 15 minutes. 3 shows. I am sure that I never want to play them again.
