Caron and Herbert, 2 shows, 12 min. full stage, close in 1--Two men, one made up as a clown, in acrobatic specialties. This act is so much like that of Caron and Farnum, which we had here a short time ago, that it was evident that many of the audience thought it was the same act. As a matter of fact, there is very little difference except perhaps the "straight" member of the "team" is a better tumbler. Perhaps this is the reason why the act did not go as bag as it otherwise might have gone. Cut: "Kiss me Tessie" and the kick that goes with it. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of interesting motion pictures: 1. Detective's Tour of the World. Quite interesting but "faky" in spots. 2. Escaped from a Cage. Fair comedy Lassard Brothers, 3 shows, 9 min. full stage--Hand-to-hand acrobats and equilibrists. First time in six years. These chaps are fairly clever, although nothing extraordinary. All right for an early spot in the 3-a-day section. John and Bertha Rich, 3 shows, 15 min. open in 3, close in 1--In comedy and singing sketch. These people have absolutely no license to either talk or sing. They appear to be willing enough, but the material could hardly be found. Their close in 1 in dancing, is the only meritorious part of the act. LaDent, 3 shows, 13 min. in 2--Juggler of hats balls and smalls articles in general. This chap is really quite clever doing a very good juggling act for the 3-a-day division. In this awfully poor spot on the bill, he got lots of applause. Wm. Alexis and Delia Schall, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1--In their singing, dancing and contortion act. Well-Known on the circuit. From the 3-a-day standpoint and from the fact that they work in 1, this is an excellent act. Comment:- The show as a whole, is a good one. Probably the only fault in the 2-show section to be found is with Caron and Herbert. They should not have followed Caron and Farnum. I have no doubt that Hilliard drew a good many patrons today, for we had a good audience for Monday.
