47 New York Schedule--June 25th, 1906 ---ooOoo--- ED. ESTUS: Equilibrist. Well known. Throughly alright as a balancer. Received applause throughout. Good three-show act. 10 min.-full stage- MILLERSHIP SISTERS: 2 young girls making a very pleasing appearance. Fairly good singers. Won out on their dancing. A neat little three-show act. 8 min. in one. "ALEXANDER." Billed as the Phenomenal Soprano. Had the audience guessing through his three songs. His voice is fairly good. First two selections went rather tame. When he pulled the wig off at the finish of the third song, the audience recognized his work. He was compelled to encore. 10 min. in one BAKER & MENO: One working straight and the other eccentric. Act consists of Jumping, Funny Falls and a little acrobatic work. Comedy is alright. Straight man is quite an excellent jumper. Was greatly appreciated throughout. Fifty Dollars overpaid, as it is only a three-show act. 13 min.-full stage O'LOUGHLIN & COHEN: Singing, Talking and Dancing Comedians. One working straight and the other in German character. Straight man cannot talk, but is thoroughly alright as a dancer. Introduces several dancing novelties. The German comedians just about passes. Received very little applause on their finish. Alright for about second on the bill. 14 min. in one- 3 shows MLLE. AMOROS: At the request of Tony Wilson, have arranged for both of the acts to work single, therefore, improving the running order of the show. This act is much better than when last presented. Assistant acts as a comedienne introducing some various feats of juggling and acrobatic work, while Mlle Amoros has improved vocally. All of her various stunts on the trapeze were strongly applauded. 13 min.-full st ARGYO KASTRON: Greek Violiniste. Very pleasing appearance with excellent selections. To one who is musically inclines, would say that this woman was rather crude and her intonation and harmonics being in some parts off-color. The answer is,-the audience don't understand music and she apparently to them, played nicely and won out. The result was, she received a big lot of applause. 11 min. in one. RICHARD F. OUTCAULT: Tremendous advance applause on his entrance. His crayon work consists of "Buster" and "Tige" in various characters to fit his stories. He was watched with great interest and scored many laughs.
