57 Cleveland Show Week of July 16, 1906. (H. A. Daniels) MILLERSHIP SISTERS-- Two girls singing and dancing. This Philadelphia act proved to be quite an entertaining little offering and the girls did so well that I will push them down the bill two places. A good sister act. 11 min. drop in one. ESTELLE WORDETTE & CO.-- Sketch "A Honeymoon in The Catskills."{ This is the team of Wordette and Kusell and this sketch has been seen on the circuit a number of times. Today's audience seemed especially delighted with the little play and the act proved an excellent offering from start to finish. This act will also be moved down two pegs. C. D. F. in 3 17 min. CARR & LIND-- Two men. Singing, dancing and cross fire talk. Some of the talk is on the dead line. One man worked straight and the other as comedian. The straight man's singing is a little off-color. This act will open the show tonight. 14 min. Drop in one. SWAN & BAMBARD-- Two men in a knockabout comedy act. Some of their work is very good. The act is not evenly balanced. They work hard and loaf in spots and for this reason they will go up to second place. F. S. 17 min. CHARLES HOWARD-- Hebrew Comedian. The young man has a fair act. Some of his jokes will have to be trimmed a little but on the whole his work went quite well considering the spot on the bill. Drop in one 12 min HARTFORD & COMPANY-- Farce comedy entitled "Turn Him Out", by Thomas J. Williams. This is undoubtedly the best act that Hartford has yet presented. It went with a scream today from the start to the finish and I think will prove a great drawing card for the balance of the week. There are five people in the sketch. Three men and two woman [women]. Parlor in four 25 min. REIFF BROTHERS--. Singing and dancing act. Both boys working straight. Their singing does not amount to much but the dancing is very good, and carries the act. They closed to a strong hand, and the audience seemed to want more when they had finished. Drop in one 11 min. FOUR BARD BROTHERS-- Undoubtedly the best American acrobatic act ever presented. They are keeping up their reputation of former years and their work today was full of new and different tricks. F. S. 10 min. KINETOGRAPH--Love versus Title. Very good The Jewel Robbers Mistfied. Very good. COMMENT-- Carr & Lind did not like their position on the re-arrangement of the bill and decided that they would rather close than play in the spot we had given them. I told them that they could close if they cared to, and they did.
