2 ELLIS-NOLAN TRIO.--Acrobatic Eccentriques. 12 min. F.S. Two men and a woman. One man works straight, the other comedian, the young woman, who is very pretty and skilful, in gown a little too sombre. Gallery act mainly, consisting of limitless horse-play, Rice-Prevost falls from tables and chairs, and some new comedy stunts that keep the audience in good nature. Applause fairly strong, working up to an uproarous finish. Made good for that sort of an act, although not as great a closing act as we have had here recently. KINETOGRAPH. 1. Floral Fiesta in California. Very pretty and interesting. 2. "Motor Car for Sale." Funny adventures of Frenchmen with a motor car. A little fakey, but it amuses. 3. Scenes and Customs in Burmah. A splendid series throughout. The pictures are good, the scenes brilliant and instructive. BEN BEYER.--Comedy Cyclist and Unicyclist. 15 min. F.S. Held down this spot in great shape, and could hold a harder one. Some new stunts, and his comedy is genuinely funny. Got a strong hand throughout and finished well. Will have a creamier place tonight. MARVERNE & THOMAS.--Entertainers. Neat sister-act, costumed beautifully and giving a fair line of goods acceptably. For a supper feature all right. 12 minutes in 1, 3 shows. BILLY BROAD.--Singing and Dancing Comedian. 13 min. Hard spot on the bill to work up much enthusiasm. Some scattered merriment and a fair finish. GENERAL REMARKS.--Show pretty well balanced, taking it altogether, particularly after rearrangmentas below. There is nothing that will send people away talking, neither can it be called below standard. The weather is ideal for business and houses big. Below is the rearrangement of acts:-- MALVERNE & THOMAS....6.43 BILLY BROAD.......................6.55 MARION & DEEANE ........7.09 The LUCADOS....................7.22 KEITH ORCHESTRA..........7.32 BEN BEYER.........................7.38 JOSIE ALLEN......................7.48 ZINGARI TROUPE...........8.00 M.DUPREE & CO...............8.20 MORROW & SCHELLBURG....................8.38 PICCOLO MIDGETS..........8.50 LEE HARRISON................9.04 FAGEN & BYRON...............9.21 CARSON & WILLARD.....9.43 ELLIS-NOLAN TRIO........9.58 KINETOGRAPH...............10.10
