91 #3:- RHODES & CARTER, Comedy Acrobats:- 12 min. F.S. 3 shows. A good acrobatic feature, with comedy part the usual clown of the [Rice?] and Prevost order. Could hold a better place on the bill than we can give it owing to the fact that we have so much acrobatic material on our bill. Received good applause throughout. CARLE COOK, Colored Comedian:-14 min. in 1. 3 shows. Fairly good blackface comedy with a good selection of songs well given. Would call it a fair three-a-day act. GENERAL REMARKS:-This is an excellent show, with no fall-downs and two or three things that were pleasant surprises. Business is immense, and there is no doubt that this will will pull the crowd this week. Selma Braatz, the Meredith Sisters and Roltare surprised us by doing better than we expected whereas the Keogh sketch fell short of our pre-conceptions. It will go up the line, while the others will come down. The revised bill will therefore stand as follows:-- Caron & Farnum...6:28 Carle Cook...6:40 Brooks & Vedder...6:47 Roltare...7:11 Keith's Orchestra...7:30 Adair & Henney...7:36 Rhodes & Cater...7:45 Fitzgerald & Gilday...7:58 T.J.Keogh & Co...8:14 Hines & Remington...8:35 Four Melvins...8:51 Meredith Sisters...9:00 Selma Braatz...9:13 Geo. W. Day...9:27 Rain-Dears...9:45 Kinetograph...10:10 --- 10:30
