122. Cleveland Show Week Of October 1st, 1906. (H. A. Daniels) SHUNGOPAVI-- Moki Indian. He starts off with a short monologue on the life of the Moki Indians. Does a few simple tricks in magic. Not a very lively act for 2:15 but got by with a little applause. Drop in two. 21 minutes. BONNIE GAYLORD-- "The girl from Posy County" This girl opens with an Indian song dressed as an Indian maiden. It seems queer following Shungopavi's act. She does a little Rube character work. A fair act and managed to get by with a little applause. Drop in one. 10 min. THE THREE DONALS-- These are three men in a foreign swinging ring act. They have some very good tricks and did quite well in this spot. F. S. 9 minutes. [L]E BRUN GRAND OPERA TRIO-- Two men and a woman in scenes from Il Trovatore. They open with the prison scene in one and they go to F. S. for two scenes. quite a good act of the kind. Received very liberal applause. Open in one F.S. 15 minutes. JACK WILSON TRIO-- Two men and a woman in a singing and talking act entitled "An Upheaval in Darktown." This act should never have follow the LeBrun Grand Opera Trio for it is very hard for a singing act to make good after so much grand opera. These people work black face and did quite well everything considered. Drop in one 17 minutes.
