CONTINUED. CARROLL & COOKE---Two men straight and comedy. This spot was too hard for these men and I will move them up to-night. Their line of talk is very weak, and they failed to make good. They were nervous, and may be they will go better to-night, although I doubt it. 14 minutes, in one. SHEAN & WARREN---In their sketch "Kidding the Captain." This act went very well, but not nearly as well as I expected for the money they are getting. 17 minutes, full stage. Special Scenery. JAMES HARRIGAN---Advance applause. This man's act went very well, and no doubt would have gone better had not Juggling Mathieu done nearly all his tricks last week. Stories went well, but it was getting quite late and the audience was waiting for the Finneys. 16 minutes in two. Close in one. THE FINNEYS--Swimmers. Man and woman in a really wonderful act that held the audience Spellbound. Their performance is new, neatly done and is bound to be talked of. It is an act worth advertising, such as picking up 61 coins by mouth without rising to surface, and staying four minutes under water. The World's Record. KINETOSCOPE--- "Battles of a Barrel." Very funny. "THE VILLAGE WITCH."---Splendid film and artistic series of pictures. "THE ALPS SEEN THROUGH A TELESCOPE."---Amusing and instructive. NOTE--- Outside of the Craigs the three show section is the worst I have seen here. The whole show costs $400 more than last week, but failed to give any more, if as much, satisfaction; with the exception of the "Finneys." A very hard show to work. Lindsay Morison.
