102 NEW YORK CRITICISM----DEC. 17th, 1906. ALEXIS & SCHALL---Man and woman in crazy singing and dancing act. Neatly costumed, and the woman is good looking. Man's contortion work is also good. Great finish. Splendid set for the money. Three shows, 12 minutes in one. CHALK SAUNDERS----Crayon Caricatures. A clever and entertaining act. The good music this man has is a feature of the act. 10 minutes in two. Could be done in one if necessary. ADAMS & MACK---Two men in Burlesque, Magic act. Straight man's work is rather neat, but the comedy end is weak. Very ordinary act. 12 minutes. 2 1/2 close in one. McCREA & POOLE---Two men in Sharpshooting act. One of the best sharpshooting acts that I have ever seen. The shooting was absolutely without a miss this afternoon, and caused a sensation. If this man has any personality at all about him, he would be a wonder. 9 minutes, full stage. ALTHEA TWINS---Two girls in songs and dances. Another very ordinary act. The sister Acrobatic dancing turns are getting monotonous. 8 minutes in one. DELPHINO & DELMORA---Man and woman in Comedy Musical act. the man's burlesque make-up and electrical effects made the audience laugh, but the musical act is very poor. The Roosevelt finish was good. 12 minutes, full stage. Close in one. Two shows. HARRY TATE'S "FISHING." Five men in an English act with Special Scenery. A very funny act. For a wonder the English comedy caught this audience, and the act went splendidly. The lines are well written, and really funny and the finish is very good. 23 minutes, full stage. AL. CARLETON---This man was a little "out-classed", but made a hit with his "Shakespeare Songs" 17 minutes in one. KITAMURA JAPS---Six Japs in a very clever act. Something doing all the time, and the top spinning was especially good. The finish was simply great, and the applause was deafening. Special Drop. 16 minutes, full Stage. MAY TULLY & CO.---in a sketch called "Stop, Look and Listen." Two women and a man. The act is a hit from start to finish. Miss Tully's acting is very clever both comedy and pathos, and the lines are very bright. Her imitations of several Actresses singing "Waiting at the Church" got big applause. Miss Demarest is a very dainty dancer. The act is new and refreshing. Special Scenery. 20 minutes. Open in one, close full stage.
