(Carl D. Lothrop) Boston Show, Week of Dec. 24, 1906. Henry & Francis. On at 1 o'clock, 16 min, in 1; 3 shows. A bright and lively act; I think that these people are capable of doing something better, as the man is a good all-round comedian, and the woman quite good-looking. They get much more applause than the ordinary run of 3-a-day acts, and close particularly strong. Harris & Harris. On at 1.16, 17 minutes, full stage. This is a local act, a boy of 15 and his sister of 14. The boy is a remarkable violinist and seems to have a brilliant future ahead of him, while the girl is almost equally talented as a pianist. These little folks could make good on any bill. I only wish that I could give them a place at 3 and 9. Shall play them again in the spring, if possible. Kenny & Hollis. On at 1.33, 16 min, in 1; 3 shows. These boys have some good stuff and get away with it fairly well, although their voices are rather punky. Think that Kenny would do much better with a more clever straight man. It would be a knockout at a burlesque show. Seymour & Hill. On at 1.49, 12 min, full stage. A corking good acrobatic comedy act, although inclined to be a little rough in spots. The man is a great clown and a wonderful tumbler, while the woman is certainly a great female acrobat, but disposed to be a little coarse in her methods. In fact, she works almost like a man. Daisy Dumont. On at 2.01, 9 min, in 1. Presents a very fine stage presence, but her voice is either wearing out or else it is frozen up temporarily. Allinei & "Petro". On at 2.10, 10 min, full stage. A very clever monkey, but I must say that I think the act is very much overpaid and does not make good for the money. Crane Bros. On at 2.20, 18 min, in 1. These boys have got their act whipped into pretty good shape now and are going more like the way they used to. They are using considerable of their old matierial and finish with their eccentric Rubedance, which goes very strongly. If a person had never seen the three act, I think that this turn would make a great hit with them. The Wesselys. On at 2.38, 13 min, full stage. This act is now in good working shape and is a hit. It is a very pretty act and has an a exceptionally strong finish for a juggling specialty. Cameron & Flanagan. On at 2.51, open in 1 8 min, full stage 12 min, 20 min in all. Oh, that these boys were as clever as their sketch. They have one of the best ideas that I have seen in many a day, and two really great performers would make the act a classic. As things are now, this act makes a hit with the audiences, but it falls short of what it might be.
