PITTSBURG, PA.  GRAND OPERA HOUSE. Dec. 31st, [[1906?]]

DOROTHY DANDALL. 10 minutes, olio in one. 3 Shows.
Dresses well but hardly gets by. in the three a day section. Would not care to repeat her. 

SAONA-Impersonations of celebrities. Interior in three, 3 shows. 12 minutes. 
A very good act for the three a day section.

GARTELLE BROS. Comedy roller skating act. Interior in three. Gets a lot of laughs and does very well about eight o'closk.

MCINTYRE & BENNETT-Black face monologue, Street in one. This is not a good act-should be doing three shows. I am sure I would not care to play them again!

DANCING DAISIES- Full stage. 15 minutes. Special scenery. This is somewhat of a novelty. The girls are good lookers but why they call them Dancing Daisies I am at a loss to know as they are unable to dance, but make an attempt at it. It gets very little applause and I have not heard any  one say it is a good act. 

THE FINNEYS-  Time of act 12 minutes. Palace. 
This is a tank act with Mr. and Mrs. Finney remaining under water and doing several tricks while under same. The act causes considerable talk and I guess is as good as any othet in their line. However, I do not think I would care to repeat them. This is a bad act for the people in the boxes as you have to set it so far back that for the people in the boxes as you have to set it so far back that more than half the popple, in our boxes, are unable to see the act. The tank has to remain in the same place the entire week.

ROONEY SISTERS-Singing and dancing act .Olio. 10 minutes in one. Neat dressers and hard workers. Will do very well from 3:00 to 3:30 on any bill. 

EMIL-Hoch & Co. 15 minutes, parlor. Comedy sketch entitled Loves Young Dream".
Faultily constructed but having some good qualities of humor. Drags considerably at the opening and finishes rather flat. Some profanity which should be eliminated.

TRIXIE FRAGANZA Monologue and imitations of Marie Dresser. 19 mm.
I think in time, after Miss Fraganza has been coached a little, her act will be improved. She is going fairly well with us and I feel sure if the would cut her imitation of Marie Dresses in two it would improve her act quite a little. The imitation as she now does it is not good.

SIX CUTTYS-19 minutes. Full stage, closing in one 2-1/2 minutes. I think this act is better than ever-going bit with us.
JACK NORWORTH-10 minutes, street in one. 
One of the best monologues we play. He is going fully as well with us as ever.
