230 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH., JAN. 7. J. H. Finn. COMMENT- An All-good show, every act making a bit hit, and Bergere and Friganza creating lots of talk. KREMKA BROS.- A very lively acrobatic act that puts the audience on edge for the good things that followed. 9 min. FS. RIALTO COMEDY FOUR- A good singing act for this spot, and worth the money it is getting. 14 min. in one. EVERHART- The greatest in his line in vaudeville. While the Kratons have a neat, little act of the same knit it is not near as showy. Everhart carries three men. 8 min. FS. EMMA FRANCIS- Made a big hit here with her Arab boys. She showed her versatility by singing a cute, little song in one, and then going to full stage with her clever dancing and acrobatic work, assisted by the boys. 11 min. TRIXIE FRIGANZA- One of the best single woman turns we have had. Miss Friganza is a valuable addition to vaudeville, and she scored tremendously with her imitations and songs. 17 min. in one. VALERIE BERGERE & CO.- Miss Bergere presented for the first time her "A Bowery Camille." While Miss Bergere is magnificent in her part and her support is adequate, the sketch lacks atmosphere. But that is all it does lack. Miss Bergere runs the whole gamut of human emotions as naturally as ever. 27 min. FS. JACK NORWORTH- He bought an entire new line of material and went bigger than ever. This young man has certainly firmly established himself with Temple audiences. 22 min. in one. JOHN T. KELLY & CO.- In this hard spot Kelly held the audience firmly to the close in his new comedy "A Game of Con." His support is adequate, and the audience was well pleased. 25 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH- "The Drunken Mattress" is a good comedy film but you better look it over before presenting it and cut out some objectionable features. 230
