248 248. CLEVELAND SHOW WEEK JAN. 28, 1907. (H. A. Daniels) LA MAZE BROTHERS Three men. Comedy, acrobatic act on style of Rice & Prevost. Too good an act to open show. Could make good anywhere on the bill. Full stage. 9 min. ZENA KEIFE; Clever little vocalist and dancer with her pony. Sang three songs. went very well. Open in one, special set in4. Close in one. 12 minutes. FRANK ORTH & HARRY FERN: Two men in a musical sketch entitled, "Sing That Book". One man works straight and the other is a messenger boy. The comedy and singing are both good. Act went very well to-day. Open C.D.F. Close in one. 16 minutes. WILL M. CRESSY & BLANCHE DAYNE: Sketch, "Town Hall To-night". This act is too well known for comment. With the packed house this afternoon, the act was a knock-out. Special set. Full stage. 25 minutes. BERT & BERTHA GRANT Man and woman. Real coons. This act comes from the west. It is traveling in pretty swift company in this spot, between Cressy & Dayne and Arnold Daly. The act is not bad but should be placed earlier on the bill. The singing is very ordinary. The man's dancing carries the act. Drop in one. 17 Minutes. ARNOLD DALY: Sketch "How He Lied To Her Husband", Written by George Bernard Shaw. Mr. Daly was assisted by Ida O'Day and Mr, Moore. The sketch was well received by the afternoon audience. Four curtain calls. Interior in four. 30 minutes. JULIUS TANNEN: Stories and imitations. Quite a good act and managed to do very well in this spot. Drop in one. 24 1/2 minutes, and every minute was a laugh. THE ARIBOS: Two men. Novelty Hand balance act/. They use a dog cart in some of their work. A good act but not lively enough to close this show. Full stage. 8 minutes. KINETOGRAPH:
