Mlle. Martha. Trapezist. Very pretty girl and does a very good act. 12 min. full stage, 2 shows. Al Carleton. This man was very pleasing to both afternoon and night audience and may be said to have made a big hit. 17 min. in 1, 2 shows. Maxmillian. Youth violinist who plays exceedingly well and no small part of his success is due to the excellent work of his sister at the piano. Exceptionally good act for the money for any house. 12 min. in 2, can work in one, if absolutely necessary with upright piano and where there is a large apron. I think 2 is the best for it. 2 shows. Junie McCree & Co. Because of the big hit that this act made, completely swamping George Fuller Golden, who followed them at the afternoon show, I was obliged to move them up, rather a paradoxical proceeding but absolutely necessary because I had nothing else to put in the bottom spot in one, in Geo. Fuller Golden's place. I consider Mr. McCree's work among the best things that have ever been put on the stage in this house, and his "dope fiend" and sketch "The Man From Denver" will be remembered here for a long time both by the public and the house. 28 min. full stage, 2 shows. Reidy & Currior. Singing act. Man and woman who make a very nice appearance. This was a pretty stiff spot for them, but they held it quite acceptably. A little earlier on the bill, I feel satisfied they would have made a big hit. 10 min. in 1, 2 shows. Bowers, Walters & Crooker. Three Rubes, comedy acrobats. One of the big hits of the show. Good tumbling and funny comedy. 13 min. open full stage, short close in 1, 2 shows. Geo. Fuller Golden. The head line monologuist. If I had billed Mr. Golden according to the success that he attained here yesterday, he would have been among the three-a-days for he fell down like a "thousand of brick," and really I don't see why - in any sense - he should have made a hit for there was nothing in his work, to my mind, that was clever. Following some of the excellent men in his line that we have had this season his "light was much dimmed" by comparison. I note that in the other houses he did 20 min. The best that he could do here was 12 min. in the afternoon and by shifting his stuff at night, he managed to do 13 min. Only fit for an 8.15 turn in Providence. NEVER AGAIN. Jackson Family. Among the best bicycle acts that we have had in the house. As we have had so much bicycle work though this season, I am afraid that they are not going to be appreciated as thoroughly as they should be. 18 min. full stage, 2 shows. Motion Pictures. O. K. NOTE: After seeing the Chadwick Trio again this afternoon (Tuesday) there is no denying they made a very big hit, especially the girl's dancing at the close in one. Chas. Lovenberg, Mgr.
