LaVine, Cimaron Trio.
Acrobatic comedy act and a good one. 14 min. full stage, they did a short close in one to accommodate me. Regardless of Mr. Sutherland's assertion they do not close in one in this act and what they are doing in one for me would not be desirable if I didn't need it so badly. 3 shows.
Gennaro's Venetian Gondolier Band.
Judging this act from a musical standpoint it certainly is queer. As a vaudeville act it is a corker. This fellow - Gennaro - as Director has got all the mannerisms of the various crazy conductors and a few of his own. The Band is lined up on both sides of the stage and the Director takes the entire center for his work and he needs all the room he can get. Their playing of patriotic airs aroused the audience to a high pitch of enthusiasm and everyone going out said it was immense. A splendid closing feature. [85?] min. full stage, 2 shows.
