TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. April 22, 1907. J. H. Finn. THE KEMPS- Man and woman (colored) comedy and singing act. Not up to the standard of the colored teams that visit this theater. 20 min. in one. MAZUZ & MAZETT- "The Tramp and the Brakeman." One of the best of the comedy acrobatic acts that visit this theater. 15 min. 10 min 3, 5 in one. "LITTLE HIP." Baby elephant, from the N. Y. Hippodrome. A very clever little act that was pleasing all the way. 9 min. FS. DICK LYNCH- Burlesque ballads and dancing. He was received quite well, but whether it was for the reason that he is a Detroit man, or for the reason that his material pleased I am unable to judge. 16 min. in one. THORNE & CARLETON- They gave us the same act as heretofore, and it went quite as well, Thorne succeeding in getting quite a lot of laughter from the blase Monday audiences. 13 in 3, 5 in one. "POLLY PICKEL'S PETS-" A very good act that is particularly pleasing to ladies and children. Miss Young, who has the principal singing part, has an exceptional good voice for a girl act, and the "cat" and parrot more than made good. 23 min. FS. AL. H. WESTON & CO.- Gave us Searl and Violet Allen's old act "The New Reporter." This act did not appear to meet the approval of the Monday audiences and all that can be said for it is that it just got by. 20 min. in one. [RALPH?] JOHNSTON- This man, who also comes from the N. Y. Hippodrome, does some of the most sensational aerial bicycle stunts ever seen in this section, and if he gets through the week without breaking his neck the theater will have something to be thankful for. 20 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH- "Scenes in Yellowstone Park" form an interesting groupe of pictures
