#2.-Phila. EVA TANGUAY, Comedienne:- 16 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 10:10. Miss Tanguay is taking the qualifying adjective "cyclonic" admirably. It just suits her. She is certainly a whirlwind entertainer from start to finish. She dashes from one end of the stage to the other, getting her audience from the first and clinching them to the finish. Makes four changes of stunning costumes, (the last one very, very Summery) and makes a hit in every one of her songs. I do not remember having heard a burst of applause more enthusiastic than that following her song, "Success". It was a knock-out. Miss Tanguay will certainly draw big this week, and we look for a general riot from the evening audiences. BERZAC'S CIRCUS, Animal-act:- 11 min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 10:25. The same act that has delighted Keith audiences both here and elsewhere so long, and just as big a hit as ever. As a closing act cannot be beat. KINETOGRAPH:- COSMOPOLITAN DANCES:- A very pretty and well colored film which had to be expurgated somewhat to pass. BILLIARD FEVER:- Rather insane comedy film, but funny in spots. BOB SLEIGH RUNNING:- Held over from last week, as the film intended for this spot did not come up to requirements. LITTLE "HIP":- Baby Elephant:- Second week. Does regulation stunts on stage but is particularly valuable as making a feature for the lobby, by distributing literature to the patrons as they come in. 10 min. F.S. On at 5:18. PAUL STEVENS, Equilibrist:- 12 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 6:42. Works with wire, tables, chairs and balancing pole, etc. does a very interesting series of stunts, showing remarkable strength in shoulders and arms and phenomenal balancing skill. Got good applause. Would make a good opener for any house. TEMPEST & SUNSHINE, "College Boy and the Girl":- 13 min. F.S. close in 1 3 show On at 6:53. Two mighty pretty girls, one in a college boy's costume. Sing exceptionally well. Could hold any spot in the three-a-day section, or even an early place in the two-a-day. Very satisfactory act from all standpoints. GENERAL REMARKS:- It is needless to remark that this is from every standpoint what we have advertised it to be:-"A Rip-roaring Vaudeville Show". It is well balanced, plays off well, having abundance of humor and ginger. If a show like this will not jam the house for the balance of the week, No Vaudeville show ever will. There were no disappointments, as in the case of De Vries last week, and at least seven of the acts could rightly be called "topliners".
