125TH STREET THEATRE CRITICISM E. F. ROGERS May 20th 1907 SELBINI & GROVINI: Juggling, Tumbling and Bicycle Exhibition. Excellent opening act. Received quite a good lot of applause throughout the act, especially that of the bicycle-riding. 13 min. full stage-closed in one about 3 min. CHADWICK TRIO: In their comedy:-"For Sale-Wiggin's Farm." Well known. This act has greatly improved. Girl received big applause for her dancing. 25 min.-full stage-closed in one 5 min. ED. F. REYNARD: Well known. Has added quite a number of stage effects. An excellent act, but it is a pity that he has not better control of his voice. He pleased, however. 21 min. NAT HAINES: Well known. Did not go as well as I anticipated, probably due to the audience being composed principally of women. Presume he will be alright to-night. 14 min. in one WM. J. KELLEY & CO: Sixth week. Presenting the one-act comedy:-"She Borrowed her own Husband." This is without doubt one of the best plays that Mr. Kelley has ever presented. It is full of good comedy and certainly scored the laughs. Act finished to big applause with the usual number of curtain calls. 30 min. a big lot of laughs with big applause on the finish. 11 min. ZAZELLE-VERNON CO: In their pantomime comedy:-"The Elopement." Well known. Received the usual number of laughs. Excellent closing act. 15 min.-full stage KINETOGRAPH: "Crayon Student" Very good
