TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. June 3, 1907. J. H. Finn. KEELEY BROS. Bag punching and burlesque boxing. this act is deserving of a better place on the bill. In fact it would be a hit in any spot, as it is out of the ordinary, and the comedy is very good. 15 min. FS. Can close in one. AURIE DAGWELL. This woman is almost too well known over the circuit to need special mention. She was well received. 12 min. in one. BOWERS, WALTERS & CROOKER. In my opinion this act is much better than the act of Dixon, Bowers & Dixon. From start to finish it held the usual critical Monday audiences in convulsions of laughter. 12 min. FS. CARTWELL & HARRIS. Man and woman in a neat little singing and dancing act that appeared to catch the fancy of the crowd. 10 min. in one. GIRARD & GARDINER. This act also is almost too well known on the circuit to need more than passing mention. The act has not changed to any material extent since its last presentation here but nevertheless it was one of the hits of the bill. 25 min. FS. JULIUS TANNEN. In sharp contrast to the last time he appeared here he was a tremendous hit. His stories, impersonations, etc. caught the crowd from the very start, and it is safe to say that no man in his line ever got a better reception here. 18 min. in one. JACKSON FAMILY. This is a very good bicycle act, but no matter how good bicycle acts are here they never go, and were it not for the pictures that follow many would walk out on it.
