CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE JULY 15, 1907. KELLY & BARTLETT 2/m Comedy acrobats. One working straight and the other black face. Quite a good little acrobatic opener. The straight man does some excellent acrobatic stunts while the other scored big on the funny falls. While all of their work is of the regulation stunts they work quickly and certainly got the laughs. 12 minutes full stage, 1 minute in one. KELLY & KENT Singing and dancing. Well known. Have about the same material as when last here. Negotiated this spot in fairly good shape. Bowery dance in one made tremendous hit. 20 minutes full stage, 2 minutes in one. CENTURY COMEDY FOUR. 4/m 3 eccentric and 1 straight. Carry their own drop representing the ocean and make their entrance in a boat. Comedy is a little crude although they secured some few laughs. Voices are not much although they got away with the singing and managed to secure good applause. At the price the act is thoroughly all right. 14 minutes full stage. NORTON & NICHOLSON In their comedy "Ella's All Right". Well known. Act is an excellent vehicle. Secured big lot of laughs and closed to good strong applause 23 minutes full stage. KINETOGRAPH- JIM'S APPRENTICESHIPS Good comedy. VAN DEN BERG OPERA CO. Presenting "Chimes of Normandy". Cast includes Louise Beaudet, Mae Calder, William Schuster, Vernon Stiles, Tre Denick, John Cantor and Alexander Clark. The company in it's entirety is excellent. Clark received big advance applause. The opera was nicely presented, most all of the members getting encores for their work. I presume the audience liked it as they received some little applause on the finale.
