GRAND OPERA HOUSE PITTSBURG, PA. SEPT. 2d, 1907. WISE & MILTON- Colored singing and dancing act. 3 shows. 16 min. Olio in one. Just about gets by in the three a day section. RICCI'S BAND- I suppose they have worse bands in America but I have never heard them. ELITA PROCTOR OTIS- 8 min. Olio in one. Miss Otis tells two or three stories which are very bad. BRUNO & RUSSELL- "The Insurance Agent" Singing, dancing and talking. 17 minutes, interior. This is a very good act and is going as well with us this time as they have ever done before. GOTHAM COMEDY FOUR- 18 min. in one. A fair comedy quartette. FREDERICK BOND & CO.- Sketch entitled "Handkerchief #15". 23 min., interior. This is a very good sketch but drags considerably at the opening owing to the fact that Mr. Bond loses his lines. I think in a week or two this act can be considered a very good laughing act. There were a number of things we were compelled to cut out of Mr. Bond's act which I hope he will eliminate entirely. CLARICE VANCE- 9 min. Olio in one. Just as big a hit as ever. MOTO GIRL- 6 min., full stage, palace. This, I consider, a very good billing feature and more than makes good. I feel sure that it draws money. CHAS. WAYNE & CO., opening in one 10 min., then to full stage, closing in one 1-1/2 min. Time of act 23 min. Singing and dancing sketch, entitled "10:00 A. M.," or The Morning After". Mr. Wayne is a very good comedian and a hard worker. I consider the act a very good one. JULIAN ELTINGE- Female impersonations. 13 min., opening in 2, closing in one. The same big hit as before. CAMILLE COMEDY TRIO- 7 min., full stage, comedy bar act. The best act of the kind I have ever played. ALVIN BROS- 3 shows. 9 min. Trapeze performers. A very good act among the three a days. ROWLAND & DUGAN- 3 shows. 12 min. Street in one. Talking and singing act. This is not a good act, the comedian being fair, the other man looks and acts very much like an amateur. EARL & BARTLETT- 3 shows. 15 min. Man and woman in a singing and talking act This is one of the old time acts and I consider it very good in the three a day section. John P. Harris
