Fred Walton & Co. On at 3.41, 27 min, full stage. Playing "Cissie's Dream", the best pantomimic sketch that vaudeville has ever known or probably ever will know, for I think we will never see Walton's equal as a pantomimist. I do not think that Mr. Walton has given quite the same attention to detail that he did last year, but his personal work puts the act on a plane by itself. I do not consider either his dude doll or his wax doll as good as the members of his last season's cast. I feel that the act will make good everywhere, however, and it is worth its money as prices are this season. Special Kinetograph Picture. "Busier Boston". On at 4.08, 8 min. A local comedy picture that made a big laughing hit. Paul Conchas. On at 4.18, 22 min, full stage. One of the most remarkable acts that vaudeville has ever known. A great big hit with this afternoon's audience. Will make a lot of talk and draw money. Am glad that I am to have him a second week. Those who have this act booked this season have good reason to congratulate themselves, for they will get nothing to equal it for anywhere near the money. Kinetograph. On at 4.38, 18 min. Showing: No. 1, "Modern Painters", one of the French trick colored films; pretty good. No. 2, "Mt. Pilatus Railway", interesting scenic picture. No. 3, "The Lost Umbrella", a rattling good comedy film. Robinson-Parquette Trio. On at 4.56, 15 min, in 1; 3 shows. An excellent colored act, two men and one woman, all three good singers, and one of the men is an amusing comedian. It would make good in this house as late as 2.45 and 8.30. Owley & Randall. On at 5.11, 11 min, full stage; 3 shows. Man and woman in a very good comedy juggling act. Would make good opener for the smaller houses. Lonnie Follett. On at 5.22, 15 min, in 1, 3 shows. A very clever youngster in impersonations of vaudeville favorites. Unless I am greatly mistaken, this boy is a find and will prove a card in any of the smaller cities that will play him. I would not be afraid to take a chance with him at number three or four in one of the small towns. Cuts:- Lonnie Follett. Caruso verse. Petching Brothers. Corrections in grammar. Comment. A very good show indeed. With Smith & Campbell back in their original spot and a man like Walter Kelly next to closing the show, it would be as good as anybody could ask for. It is pretty near good enough as it is, its great fault being lack of novelty.
