244. UNION SQUARE CRITICISM-----WEEK OF SEPT. 16th, 1907. MR. AND MRS. DICK TRACY In "Courtship at Cowslip Farm." This is a fair act to open the show with. 17 minutes, full stage. Three shows. NEALY SISTERS. This is a very fair little act. Both girls are very clever, and their singing and dancing is good; and are neatly dressed. Went fair. 12 minutes in one. Three shows. OWLEY & RANDALL Good comedy juggling act, and always manages to make good about third on the bill. Went well. 10 minutes, full stage. Three shows. HARRY BURGOYNE This fellow does a very good act. His songs are all very good, and he went very well. 15 minutes in one. Three shows. MLLE. ANI Physical Culture Lady. This is a very good act. She is a very clever woman, and her work on the trapeze is good. Went very well. 11 minutes, full stage. Two shows. FELIX AND CAIRE This boy and girl I tried out some weeks ago in the afternoon, and they were quite a hit that time. They have been playing around, and have improved their act very much. They are both very clever, and especially the boy. I feel safe in saying that this act was the hit of the show this afternoon, and the act can go way down on the bill, and is sure to make good. Went very big. 18 minutes, full stage and close about 8 minutes in one. ED. F. REYNARD AND HIS MECHANICAL FIGURES. Mr. Reynard is very well known here, and he always makes good. Went very well. 20 minutes full stage. KELLY & ROSE Singing Melodies Old and New. Consider this one of the best singing acts of its kind in Vaudeville. Both men have very good voices, and went very big here this afternoon. 18 minutes in one. GALLAGHER & BARRETT In "The Battle of Too-Soon." They are very well known here, and went very well this afternoon. They added a lot of new material which is good. 20 minutes, full stage. 18 minutes in one. RIALTA. Fire and Mirror Dancer. I was a little disappointed in this woman, not that I think her act is bad, but the only fault I had to find is that she is too far down on the bill. I would have changed her place, but I haven't got anything to close the show. 12 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH Visit to Constantinople. Very good film. The Living Silhouette. Fair. Liquid Electricity. Very interesting. NOTE. The show this week is one of the strongest I have had in some time. There is plenty of good comedy, singing, dancing etc., and it is a very good variety show, and the audience was satisfied with it this afternoon. Reed Albee,
