KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE CRITICISM (Cont'd) MADDEN & FITZPATRICK Presenting the playlet "The Turn of the Tide". Rather serious affair but interesting. Mr. Madden scored big for his piano work. Very pleasing. Twenty-two Minutes Full Stage. JACK HAZZARD Quite an excellent storyteller. Has a lot of new material and had them laughing continually for Fifteen Minutes. NANCE O' NEIL & CO. Presenting "the Jewess". Presume this woman may be a good drawing attraction outside of New York but I doubt if her name will draw here. Her work was excellent and was given a rousing hand on the finish. The vehicle is a very sad affair, not the proper sketch for vaudeville. Nineteen Minutes Full Stage. GOULD & SURATT On account of the extra number of full stage acts Mr. Gould opens in one and tells a few stories which I presume affects the sketch somewhat. Miss Suratt, in her various changes received good applause. Entirely too much money. Applause hit of the show. Twenty-three Minutes. Open and close in One. ELLIS-NOWLIN TROUPE Acrobatic comedy. Laughing hit of the show. Nine Minutes. KINETOGRAPH A SLAVE'S HATE Good - THE COUNT OF NO ACCOUNT - Very Good
