44 KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE CRITICISM (Cont'd) HIGH LIFE IN JAIL (Cont'd) report a little later. Twenty-seven Minutes Full Stage. LILLY LENA This young lady has a very fine and pleasing personality. Her voice is excellent, selections are bright, and costumes, gorgeous. She started off a little tame but shortly after got the house and proved to be one of the best little entertainers we have had here for many weeks. The audience seemed never to tire of her work. She made an exceptionally big hit. Twenty-one Minutes in One. JESSIE MILLWARD Supported by Brandon Hurst in the one-act drama, "The Queen's Messenger". Miss Millward was accorded some little advance applause. The theme of the sketch is well known and Brandon Hurst gave her excellent support. Held them to the finish which was very strong. Twenty-two Minutes Full Stage. HARRY VON TILZER Great advertising medium for a publisher to dispose of his own songs at our expense. Was accorded a tremendous advance hand. His opening selections were rather quiet but shortly after he had them going on account of his more popular airs. His "Summertime" proved a star feature and with the assistance of his company who were sitting in the front of the house he managed to make a grand stand finish and secured big applause. Thirty Minutes Full Stage Close in One. AMATEUR ACROBAT Good
