Cleveland, Ohio. June 15 '08. N. S. Hastings. CHEFALO and CAPARETTA. Man and woman. In 4, garden with special drop. time, 13. Magic. The tricks were old, yet they are put on fast and with considerable clever comedy. The act made very good. ARTHUR RIGBY In 1. time 14. B.F. Monologist. Most of his material is good and new, with a few ancient friends. for the most part he kept the people laughing continually. Songs fair. Called back once. JULIE RING & CO. Miss Ring and 2 men. Time 17. Interior in 4, brightened up with college flags, cushions and so forth. "The Wrong Room" tells of a girl who gets caught in a college man's room while she is trying to deliver a letter for one of her chums. The comedy situations are fast and furious and there is much doing all the time. Big scream. LOTTA GLADSTONE. In 1. Time 18. As "The Country Girl." Monologue fair, braced up with a great comedy laugh which she used frequently. Imitations, very good. BINNS, BINNS, BINNS. 3 men, comedy musicians. Open C.D.F., close in 1. Time 19. Their comedy is odd and and went well, and their music was the hit of the show. In spots they are very "burlesquey", using selzer bottles, and batting each other on the heads, yet in spite of this, their good features made the best hit we have had for weeks. M'LLE ORBASSANY'S COCKATOOS. F.S., garden. Time 14. The animals are well wrained. Their finish of a "Shipwreck" in which the cockattos, furl the sails, cast off the rudder, fire the signal gun and finally rescue the passengers, gets a big hand. JACK WILSON and COMPANY. 2 men, 1 woman, Time 22. In 1. Dialogue and songs. Talk, bright and lively; songs, catchy. 3 real encores. Typical "coon" material by white performers. ALCIDE CAPITAINE. F.S. Garden. Time 8. A beautifully formed Italian woman, neat and graceful. She works on the two trapezes. Her work is fast, accurate, and unusually attractive. She kept the audience glued in their seats. THE KINETOGRAPH.
