SWOR BROS. 19 min. in one. This is a good act of the blackface type. Have a good line of talk, though some of it is borrowed, and the eccentric dancing and business help the act. Went better than on their previous engagement here. LOVE WALTZ. 34 min. Full Stage. All that has been said about this act, from the standpoint of its scenic effects, music, costuming and general presentation was fully justified with our audience today. It is certainly the most elaborate and ambitious of all vaudeville musical comedy novelties. The audience was delighted with the perfection of color effects, and applause was frequent. The choral-work shows a particularly careful selection and training of voices. For classiness and brilliancy this act certainly leads anything of the kind outside of a five-act production. It is bound to be talked about and ought to draw strong with our people these two weeks. KINETOGRAPH. The Whimsical People. This is quite an amazing film and leaves the audience wondering how the transformations could be produced. II. Fish Preserving in Astrakan. A very interesting travel film,-- one of the kind that we like here every week to put in between our comedy films. III. The Bargee's Daughter. Only a fair comedy film. TOM BATEMAN. This man could make good in the early two-a-day section if necessary. He sings well and his general manner of delivery is pleasing. Will be placed number two on the bill for the balance of the week. GENERAL REMARKS. This is a good warm weather show and seems to please our patrons. The papers are very favorably disposed toward "The Love Waltz" and the bill generally. Outside of the Adler act, everything made good. The papers are giving and promise to continue to give "The Love Waltz" a good deal of space.
