Report on Columbus Show week Dec. 21st. -- 08. W. W. Prosser. SWAN & BANBARD: Comedy acrobats. -- They won out as they have every time here and the act was all that could be wished for, especially for an opener. 15 minutes Wood in four. The Worthleys: Man and woman in a comedy skit. "On The Beach" -- Really not much merit to this act in a general way tho at times it went fairly well. -- The woman is petite and cute and dances nicely. The man makes a fair partner in the offering but that is about all. Would term it a fair little act and that is about all. 16 minutes special in 2. The Five Masons: Two men and three women in "A Country School." The act is on the order of Leach and Rosebuds but not as good. However there are some very strong comedy points and all in all the act pleased. -- They have several funny bits of "business" and this afternoon it went big. -- Have played many acts not nearly so good. Kitchen 25 minutes. Julius Tannen: Went better this time than the last, in fact I believe he was as strong as the first time I ever had him. He has a lot of new stuff and some little of the old. There are not many acts that I know of that can get to an audience any better than Tannen. -- He has made a lot of friends here and I believe that he is one of the few whose name is worth any thing to us. 22 minutes in one. Chas. [?]. Evans & CO: Comedy one act play and a corker. -- The laughs were many and the work of the entire cast all that could be desired. -- Finished strong. -- We have had nothing in the sketch line for a long time that went any better. 29 minutes. C. D. F. Long Acre Quartette: The best act of its kind I have ever played. They simply would hardly let them off the stage this afternoon. They were recalled time after time. They can all sing and they have no freak mannerisms. - This is a quartet for sure. 17 minutes olio in one. The Golden Globe: About the same act as the Globe of Death. -- It aroused a lot of interest and finished strong. No fault to find. 6 minutes Garden in 4. Motion Pictures O. K.
