CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Jan. 18th, 1909. HUGHES MUSICAL TRIO A straight instrumental number which pleased in this position. Full stage, close in one. Harry KEANE-BRISCOE Olive "A Trial Marriage". The theme is entirely along new lines and both people are clever and the act is worthy of a better position on the bill. Full stage. JOHNSTON and HARTY The opening while not strong, being mostly material used last season, was a disappointment but their finish was new and they closed strong. In one. "JOYLAND" This is Gus Sohlke's act featuring Clara Belle Jerome and Ms. Seymour. They are assisted by eight pretty and clever young girls. Considerable comedy and novelty which together with the spectacular effects make it one of the best girl acts we have every played. Full stage INTERMISSION LONDE and TILLY Man and woman in an equilibristic act the finale of which is very thrilling. Full stage. WALTER C. KELLY "The Virginia Judge". Mr. Kelly can always be depended upon for new material and holds a strong place in the affection of our people. In one. Angela Dolores and Co. "Cupid at Home". A dramatic sketch containing considerable comedy and closed the bill following Mr. Kelly holding the attention of everyone till the final curtain.. H. Winnifred De Witt, Mgr.
