GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURG, TA., JANUARY 11th, 09. THE VINDOBONAS-13 minutes, interior, closing in one. Two men. Comical Musical Act. I would only consider this act as fair and would not care to play it later than 8:30. J. WARREN KEANE- 3 shows-15 minutes, olio in one. Very good when you consider him a three a day. He got by with us at 8:15. SELMA BRAATZ- "Europe's Greatest Lady Juggler". 15 min., full stage Garden. No question about this young lady being Europe's greatest juggler. This is her second appearance with us and she has been a big hit at every performance. HENRY LEE-20 minutes in one with moving pictures of Croker in Ireland. Would do very well at about $75.00 in the three a day section. His films were in very bad shape, his subjects uninteresting, and did not make good at any time during the week. ARMSTRONG & CLARK- 22 minutes, interior. "Composer and Comedian" The comedy in this act is very good, also the singing of their own songs. This can be classed as one of the very good acts. MARGARET MOFFAT & CO. IN "AWAKE AT THE SWITCH" 24 min. full stage, Special. Miss Moffat is a very clever woman and "Awake at the Switch" is far above the average sketch. It went very big here but I feel sure that the salary they ask is entirely too high. $500 would be the limit on the value of this act. HARRY GILFOIL 15 minutes in one with his old monologue and imitations. Going better than ever. MARCEL'S PICTURES-15 minutes, full stage, special. While, of course, this is the best act of the kind in the business, I am sure that it is not worth what it costs. John P. Harris.
