this week, I am sure. GOLDEN MAKARENKO TROUPE. 10 people. One of the most gorgeously costumed and artistic acts overplayed here. The women are all pretty, sing well and the men have good voices and dance with grace and vivacity. Act goes with a dash and makes a good closer for that reason. KINETOGRAPH. "Latest French Moto-Boat Inventions." Really a very interesting travel film, and particularly timely on account of the present interest in motor-boat racing. "Buster's Revenge." A good comedy film of the regulation French order. HALL BROTHERS. 15 min. These men work after the style of the Belleclair Brothers, and while they are not by any means as skilful, nevertheless, they do a lot of strong men feats that win good applause. Both men make a fine appearance, and the act is worthy of a good spot where strong men acts are required. TOGNARELLY BROTHERS. 12 min. These are two young boys, playing in the Hungarian style. One manipulates the violin, the other the guitar. They play with precision and skill. A very good musical act indeed. DEMACOS. This is a very good ring act, and would make a good opener for some of the smaller houses. Man and woman both make a good appearance. They were trained in the Keith Theatre Building and have quite a following. (Herrmann's Gymnasium.) However, their feats are good and they deserved all the applause they received. Finish their act with a thrilling feat on a heavy rope held horizontally taut from the stage to the flies. COUNTESS LEONTINE. 10 min. A very tall woman, beautifully gowned and having a far-reaching voice and sometimes brilliant, although she is apt to strain it, for effect. Sang three songs, one of them in English. Received good applause. GENERAL REMARKS: This is a good show, and with the order changed ought to play off swift and strong. Miss Ring will pull money to the house this week and the surrounding bill is right up to the standard. The following is the order in which the show will play:- Orchestra Hugh Emmett Harlan Knight & Co. El Cota J. Maxwell & Co. John T. Kelly & Co. Blanche Ring Ahearn Troupe Matthews & Ashley Golden-Makarenko Troupe Kinetograph
