CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Sep. 6th, 1909. VAN CLEVE, DENTON and "PETE". Formerly Van Cleve and Maude. A good comedy act and could hold a better position on the bill. Full stage. TWO HEIM CHILDREN The cleverest juvenile performers we play and always a big hit here. In one. LEO DONNELLY "A Reporter and his Experiences". All new material and pleased. In one. CLAUD and FANNIE USHER "Fagin's Decision". Both clever people and present a clean and interesting sketch. Full stage. INTERMISSION Frank "SLIVERS" Oakley Assisted by a clever tumbler Artie Nelson, they present the pantomime, "The Ball Game". Mr "Slivers" is unquestionably the "Prince of Clowns". Full stage. Mr. "Quick" An entirely new series of new up-to-date pictures and received hearty applause. In one. THE TOP O' TH' WORLD" [sic] 9 girls, 4 men and 8 handsome collies. They carry a special set, the girls are very [crossed out: clever] good dancers, the music catchy and the dancing of the girls with the dogs all tend to make a strong closing number. The act made a hit with our audience today and will be much talked about outside. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH Scenes in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Very pretty. H. Winnifred De Witt.
